“Gustave” is the name of a legendary crocodile. According to legend, he was born roughly 66 years ago, somewhere along the Nile River near Burundi and weighs around 2,000 pounds. Local authorities claim he has devoured as many as 300 people. In my painting I imagine his devilish grin and satisfied demeanor. The thick paint has been applied with a knife to enhance the texture.
Hang this brightly colored crocodile on any wall in your home or office for a pop of color. “Gustave” is SURE to be a conversation piece
